I was just casually reading The Feminine Mystique while waiting for friends outside of a restaurant when a man started yelling at me for going to a restaurant at lunchtime instead of cooking for my (non-existent) husband.
The best part about this story is that I was reading on my Kindle, so he had no idea what book I was reading.

Stories like this make me so sad, especially now that I’ve seen an episode of Lockup.
I worked at a science night for kids last night. My station was about senses, so they smelled different items and tried to guess what they were. One was coffee. I was trying to help one girl who was having trouble, so I told her it was a drink adults liked.
